Great success of the first Prosur Global Sales Gathering
From November 6-9, the first Prosur Global Sales Gathering took place in Murcia.
The entire sales team from all over the world met at our headquarters to reflect on the year and co-create our strategy into action for 2024.
Our agenda was jam-packed with best practice examples, tech talks, strategy workshops, an analysis of our 2023 sales figures and the presentation of a completely new product concept for 2024.
Best Practice Sessions
Day one and two were dominated by best practice examples from our sales teams in Europe, North, Central and South America, in which our colleagues gave deep insights into their markets.
There was a lively exchange about the various customer demands, the latest market developments, the individual regulations in their different countries and how they helped customers fulfil their goals.
Our Global Business Development Director Simon Claessens used the opportunity to present the next stage evolution of our technology in 2024. This will take #GetItNatural to a new level. As another surprise, the team had the honour of visiting our newest production facility.
Science Sessions
Wednesday, day 3 of our Global Sales Gathering, was all about “Methodology Matters”.
During four impactful Tech Talks presented by Dr. Carmen Ortuño, Dr. Pascuali Vizcaíno Milla, Dr. Carlos de Torre Minguela and Dr. Christine Alvarado our international sales team took a deep dive into the latest science behind our unique Get It Natural technology.
While Carmen spoke about food safety, Pascuali’s presentation dealt with cutting-edge analytical methods for the detection of nitrite in meat products. Carlos, on the other hand, presented his study on gut health and Christine introduced the third-party studies on the functionality of our products from various well-known US universities.
During the Q&A sessions, the speakers were joined by our CEO, Dr. Juan de Dios Hernandez Canovas, our Global R&D Director Dr. Isidro Guillén López, and Xingchu Li, Director of Technical Services USA & Canada.
The challenge at the end of this highly academic session was how to integrate this scientific knowledge into the sales process?
Group Work Sessions
That’s what our sales team worked out the next day in the “Selling Science” workshop, another highlight of our Global Sales Gathering.
The challenge: 4 teams of four had 45 minutes to create an “Explaining Prosur Science” presentation tailored to our matrix of different customers based on the insights and learnings from the previous days, and pitch it to the other participants.
The result: 4 different approaches, 4 informative & extremely entertaining pitches as well as a lot of fun throughout the workshop.
The summary
The first Prosur Global Sales Gathering was a complete succes! Because, in addition to the serious stuff our team also had the time to get to know each other better during team building activities and enjoyed several more than lively meals out.
The final conclusion: We worked hard. We played hard. Everyone is looking forward to smashing 2024!
